ADAGUC Data Products Standard

The ADAGUC Data Products Standard describes the standards used within the ADAGUC project to store the geospatial information. The data products follow the HDF5 1.8.x specification, which includes support for dimension scales that provide an elegant solution for data presentation. The netCDF4 API is used to create the ADAGUC HDF5 files. The netCDF version 4 API is implemented on top of the HDF5 library, making it possible to create HDF5 and NetCDF files with the same API.

Importing and exporting the ADAGUC format

The ADAGUC Vector format can be imported using OGR, the ADAGUC Raster format can be imported and exported by GDAL. The GDAL ADAGUC Wiki provides more information on this topic.
